Annual HOA Dues

Access to the River

Each lot is assessed $100 per year. Annual assessments are due each year on July 1st. If dues are not paid by September 1st, they are considered late and the lot owner will be charged a late fee.

There is a one-time fee of $55 to establish a new owner's mailbox.

All lots within FRE are privately  owned property and thus cannot be used by others to access the river.  However, there are a few access points where FRE residents can access the river.

Frequently asked questions of buyers and sellers

  1. How much are the FRE HOA annual dues?  $100 a year, per lot
  2. When are annual dues due?  July 1st of each year and cover 7/1-6/30
  3. What if my dues are paid late?  If dues are not paid by September 1st, there will be a $15 late fee
  4. Where do I send my dues check?  Send payment to: FRE HOA - 15148 River Loop Dr. East, Bend, OR 97707
  5. Is there common property within Fall River Estates HOA?  The only common property in FRE is the Mail Box Station
  6. Is there river access with FRE?  Yes, please contact any of the HOA Board members and they will be happy to show you where the river access is located
  7. Is the HOA responsible for the roads in FRE?  No, Fall River Drive (from South Century to the intersection of River Loop Dr. East is maintained by Deschutes County).  The Fall River Estates Special Road District (SRD) maintains all other roads in FRE.
  8. Is hazard insurance and/or utilities included in the HOA annual assessment fee?   No
  9. Does the FRE HOA have insurance? Yes, via American Family Insurance
  10. Are there any current demands, claims, or lawsuits made by or against the FRE HOA?  None at this time
  11. Fees related to purchasing a FRE property:  $100 annual dues if not paid, $55 to assign a new mailbox,  $35 title company transfer fee,  $40 if a new mailbox lock if required
